Dockmerce Privacy Policy
Effective date: 7 June 2026 · Publisher: XBuilder · Application: Dockmerce — Windows merchant workspace host
This policy explains what information Dockmerce collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Dockmerce you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account & identity. When you sign in with your Microsoft account, Microsoft provides us your name, email address, and a stable account identifier. We use these to create and authenticate your Dockmerce administrator account and workspace. We never see your Microsoft password.
- Workspace & business data. Data you create in Dockmerce — store details, products, orders, customers, inventory, subscription/billing records, settings, team invitations, and uploaded assets (e.g. product images).
- Technical data. Service logs needed to operate and secure the product, such as request metadata, timestamps, and IP address.
How we use information
- To provide, operate, and maintain your workspace and the Dockmerce service.
- To authenticate you and keep your account and data secure.
- To provide support and to detect, prevent, and address abuse or technical problems.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your business data for advertising.
Staff access for support
To investigate support requests and detect abuse, authorized Dockmerce administrators may view your workspace data (catalog, orders, customers, usage, and account details) on a read-only basis. They cannot place orders or make changes while doing so, and every such access is recorded in an internal audit log (which administrator, which workspace, when, and why).
How information is stored and shared
- Your data is stored on our managed backend (
api.dockmerce.com) over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections.
- Microsoft processes your sign-in as the identity provider (Microsoft Entra).
- We share data only with infrastructure providers that host the service on our behalf, or where required by law. We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing.
Data retention and your choices
- We retain workspace data while your account is active.
- You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, or deletion of your workspace, by contacting us at the address below. We will delete your data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
Security
We use industry-standard measures including TLS in transit, access controls, and isolation between workspaces. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
Dockmerce is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
